It is with great pleasure that the Western Sydney Historical Truck Club will host Haulin' the Hume for 2013. Join us again for a nostalgic trip where we will retrace as much of The Old Hume Highway as possible out of Sydney and relive some of the sounds, sights and smells of the pre-emissions era.
We will depart from the Beech Road Industrial Estate opposite 'Uncle Leo's' in Casula, and follow Highway 31 down through Camden, up over Razorback, through the 'hole in the wall' at Picton, and cover the picturesque drive through to Yerrinbool, Mittagong, Berrima, Goulburn, The Cullerin Range and then into Gunning for lunch. We will then head for Yass where the day will finish with dinner and a 'modern slide show' of some old road transport photos along with stories of life on the road.
